Across this country many Muslims desire to learn and enlighten themselves with the knowledge of the Quran and Arabic language. For this reason, Miftaah launched a one-year Intensive Arabic and Islamic Studies Program so that Muslims may have the opportunity to educate themselves in the sciences of their religion. Students may begin this program with minimal experience beyond the ability to read and write Arabic and by the end, students grow to understand the Quran as well as other classical and contemporary Arabic texts. The course will cover all parts of the Arabic language by studying Nahw, Sarf, and Grammar using the lens of the Holy Quran and the sayings of our Prophet SAW. Students will also develop a comprehensive understanding of Islamic law and religious thought.

This is the gateway to all the fruits of sacred knowledge. The Associate of Islamic Studies at Miftaah Institute offers a range of classes to get you introduced to the traditional Islamic sciences , taught in an engaging manner to promote personal development and allow you to give back to your community, whilst building brotherhood/sisterhood within the classes. Students will study Islamic tradition and cover classical scholarly approaches to provide a grounded education of rich Islamic history and the application of Islamic knowledge. These courses establish expertise in Islamic studies and prepare undergraduate students for further academic study.

Advanced Program

The Advanced Islamic Studies Program is a comprehensive and rigorous educational journey tailored for students who have successfully completed the Miftaah Associate Program, Miftaah Online, or an equivalent program. This program is designed to offer a deeper and more profound exploration of the sacred knowledge within the Islamic tradition, enabling students to attain expertise in Islamic Studies and enhance their understanding of the Islamic Sciences.

Miftaah Lite provides college students and adults a primer on their journey to attain in-depth knowledge of the various disciplines of Islamic studies. Students will study Islam and cover classical scholarly approaches, providing them an introduction to the rich Islamic tradition and application of the Islamic disciplines. The course establishes a basic foundation and introduction to Islamic Studies and prepares students for further academic study.

Using the Prophetic wisdom as the basis of Quran Ascension's educational strategy, students will aspire mastery in 3 core levels. Reading, recitation, and memorization are the core areas of learning available. The "Reading" level will focus on correctly articulating letters / words with an introduction to tajweed. The bench mark goal for students in this level is to properly read the 30th Juz of the Quran fluently while adhering to the rules of tajweed.

The objective of the online seminar is to provide our students an in-depth understanding of the various sciences of Islam. While the focus is on the Arabic language, we aim to develop our students with a full view of our tradition. Therefore we have 6 departments working to develop a complete and holistic curriculum. The academic year is divided into three semesters. Each semester will have a minimum of 3 course offerings.

Miftaah Talent Program: Kids Edition

Every parent prays the best for their child both in this life and the next. Indeed, the best thing that parents can offer to their children is to teach them the Book of Allah SWT. In 2020, Miftaah launched a special online program that would allow children to “discover their voice”. This course is specially designed towards kids, as it provides an interactive and exciting atmosphere for learning the Quran! This program will teach children how to recite the Quran with perfect pronunciation of the letters, in a style that fits their voice, and with the confidence to recite at gatherings and events.

miftaah + MYNA Seminary

We are excited to launch our new collaboration with MYNA! The Miftaah-MYNA Seminary was created to provide sacred knowledge to the next generation of Muslims and Muslim leaders. Its purpose is to instill confidence in our youth leaders and community members through Islamic education in order to help them grow intellectually and spiritually. The courses will be taught online and will be accessible and affordable for all students.
