One of the main objectives of Miftaah is to provide individuals with a chance and opportunity to educate themselves. Due to the different demographics of people, humans choose different means to educate themselves about Islam. Some may take the route to physically register for a 3-year long course or maybe a Summer Intensive which may be more fruitful but requires more time and commitment. Others may choose to stay within their own communities and Masaajid to learn about their religion.

Whichever path an individual takes, Miftaah is ready to provide the necessary pathway and education to get them to where they want to go. Hence, in an effort to affirm that everyone has this equal opportunity to learn about this beautiful religion, Miftaah is committed not only to serving the students that come to their facility but is equally dedicated to serving communities across North America.

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:

إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ

‍“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim)

Miftaah Institute is an open and inclusive environment for people seeking Islamic knowledge. In 2017, Miftaah Institute was established in Warren, Michigan. Founders sought to empower and educate people through an accessible and an approachable platform. Since then, we have come a long way in providing accessible, affordable, and diverse content. As our institute continues to grow, we wanted to share the growth and achievements that we had over the years.
