Shaykh AbdulNasir Jangda is the founder, director, and an instructor at Qalam. After returning from his studies, he taught at the local university and Islamic schools and served as the Imam in the Dallas area.

Mufti Aasim Rashid

Shaykh Abdullah Waheed was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. Shaykh Abdullah is a co-founder and instructor at Miftaah Institute and is also the Director of Islamic Affairs at Flint Islamic Center.

Shaykh Yaser Birjas is the Head of our Islamic Law and Theory Department at AlMaghrib Institute. Often described as the fatherly figure by students, Shaykh Yaser exudes a calm, gentle and caring demeanour that welcomes students to ask questions with awe and respect.
