Faith from A Cave: Tafseer of Surah Kahf
Trials (Fitan) are an inseparable part of life in this world. Our Prophet ﷺ taught us to recite Surah al-Kahf every Friday to protect ourselves from the Fitan of this world, including the greatest of them, the Dajjal. He said, “Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, it will illuminate him with light from one Friday to the next.” (Sahih al-Jami)Faith from a Cave is an in-depth study of the themes, messages, and lessons learned from Surah al-Kahf, with pauses to reflect on the Fitan we face today and deriving inspiration from the four timeless tales the Surah is structured around.
Join us in exploring the profound wisdom and guidance contained within Surah al-Kahf, a Surah that speaks directly to the heart of believers in times of trial and tribulation. "And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people every [kind] of example, but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute." (Quran 18:54)
