This was my very first intensive with Miftaah Institute and it was absolutely amazing mashaAllah. It was very educational, and the content was well-taught so it could be easily absorbed. Each of the shuyookh took their time to go through the various topics and gave an in depth analysis on different topics. It’s definitely one of those events that make you feel closer to Allah, His Messenger ﷺ and the love of obtaining knowledge.

I had a great time and loved how the instructors were so open and made me have fun and laugh while learning. I loved that the curriculum was well established and easy to manage and how the instructors kind of added their own personal experiences and learning to the material. The program itself also opened my eyes to so much knowledge that every Muslim should be exposed to and I am grateful for that.

Imam Ali Hofioni is currently serving the GTA community as an Imam, instructor, director and counselor at Ummah Nabawiah Masjid. He received numerous ijazah of transmission in all six famously authentic books of hadith from his teachers.

Shaykh Abdullah Waheed
Instructor
Shaykh Abdullah Waheed was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. He commenced his studies at the age of ten in Toronto, Canada, where he went to memorize the Quran. He completed the memorization of the Holy Quran by the tender age of thirteen and then went on to study in the seven-year extensive Shariah program in Toronto, Canada. Shaykh Abdullah specialized in the Tafseer of the Quran. Shaykh Abdullah spent years studying the details and beauty of our Holy book since understanding and mastering the language of the Holy Quran was always the primary goal. Shaykh Abdullah is a co-founder and instructor at Miftaah Institute and is also the Director of Islamic Affairs at Flint Islamic Center.

Shaykh Suleiman Hani
Instructor
Dr. Suleiman Hani is the Dean of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute, a resident scholar in Michigan, and an international lecturer on Islam, philosophy, leadership, and human rights. Suleiman holds master's degrees from Harvard University and the University of Jordan, and a doctorate in leadership from NYU. His unique background includes mastery of classical Islamic texts since a young age with traditional certifications, alongside contemporary leadership theory and practice. Over the past decade, he has delivered lectures across more than fifty countries, consulted national and international organizations, and published numerous books and articles.
