One of the richest legacies in our Islamic archive, the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) clarifies the unwavering disposition of a Believer, to submit to the will of Allah (SWT) obediently. From the conflict of monotheism with his father to the heart-wrenching decision to abandon his wife and son in the desert, the trials given to the family of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) elucidate why Allah (SWT) declared Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to be His friend.

Words cannot truly express how much I loved this event, only Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows. I didn’t know how much I needed to go until I was there. From the beginning to the end, I was praising Allah for allowing me to come to this event. Mufti Abdul Wahab had the funniest introductions. Shaykh Mikaeel’s lecture was so passionate, after I went home I was thinking about purchasing his books. I took notes during this event, and even shared it on my social media after because of how profound it was. I learned so much wisdom through this event. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى allow me to come to more.

This was a great event to hold in Columbus! There were a variety of speakers and the lectures were short and digestible. It was a good review of the life of Ibrahim AS and drew connections and parallels I had not thought of before. Overall very happy I was able to go.
