Paths of Preservation

Join us this summer for Paths of Preservation, a special Hifdh & Tajwid intensive designed to help students strengthen their connection with the Book of Allah through memorization, precision in recitation, and consistent companionship with the Qur’an.

Under the guidance of Shaykh Noorulhuda Khalid and Ustadha Walaa Ibrahim, students will spend four enriching weeks building discipline, refining tajwid, and developing a deeper appreciation for the words of Allah in an uplifting environment centered around growth and spiritual excellence.

Whether you are beginning your journey of memorization or striving to strengthen what you already know, this intensive is an opportunity to walk the path of the people of Qur’an.

Shaykh Noor Ul Huda Khalid
Hifdh Program Coordinator and Instructor

Shaykh Noorulhuda Khalid, originally from Houston, Texas, memorized the Qur’an and achieved mastery in Tajweed by the age of ten under the guidance of renowned Qurra’. He later pursued his formal Islamic education at the Michigan Islamic Institute and the Institute of Islamic Education, completing seven years of exntensive study and earning a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic. He currently serves as the resident scholar at Masjid Al-Salam, Imam and instructor at the Michigan Islamic Institute, and a faculty member at Miftaah Institute. Shaykh Noorulhuda is actively involved in teaching, youth mentorship, community engagement, and delivering impactful lectures nationwide. With a deep passion for holistic growth, he is also pursuing further studies in psychology and sociology to help bridge the gap between Islamic tradition and the evolving challenges of modern society. His mission is to inspire hearts, nurture spiritually grounded communities, and guide individuals toward a life of purpose, healing, and closeness to Allah s.w.t

Guidelines for Graduation

The Miftaah Lite Seminary Curriculum is centered around 6 Core Subjects

Quranic studies

One of the main factors that distinguish our program is its graduation requirements. To complete the program and graduate, students must receive a passing score for each course. To complete the Miftaah Lite program, the student must complete at least 2 courses per semester for a total of 8 courses over two years.

A total of 8 course courses are needed to qualify for the Miftaah Lite certificate. After completing 8 courses of the Lite program, students are encouraged to transfer to the Associate Program located at the Miftaah Campus.
